DVT Engineering Support Developer, Torrance, CA

Expert knowledge and training in the use of a PC including; MS Office, E-mail messaging tool, C++, database function, and various programming tools
Strong level of analytical ability and problem solving skills with experience in root cause analysis
Ability to troubleshoot software problems and develop recommendations under tight deadlines
Ability to code and test vehicle diagnostic related programs
Working knowledge of vehicle serial data communication protocols, aftermarket scan tools and vehicle programming software
Highly developed interpersonal skills to be able to interact with both engineering and plant customers regarding business and technology needs
Second language skills other than English to be utilized to verbally communicate while traveling internationally
Ability to work efficiently in a production environment and excel under tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task
Strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Self directed and motivated with the ability to meet deadlines on a consistent basis
Team player with a willingness to work in groups/teams

Automotive experience is required

4-year college degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Certification in C++
